Mah'dee Daye, the Wandering Minstrel

"Ah, so you would like to know a little about my beginnings? Well it all started..."

  Mah'dee Daye grew up in an all elven community in one of the finer forest cities. His house was at the top of one of the tall Oakwood trees. A lovely house he lived in with his family, his mother (Lameia), his father (Limsai), and his one brother (Roiel).  Their family was close and him and his brother bonded well.

  He lived a somewhat luxurious life (by elven standards) and always had everything he needed provided for him. His father taught him the ways of the hunt using mainly the bow and his mother taught him the ways of music and art.

  He had a wild heart (and still does) which tended to drag him out on adventure. When he became of age (180 years) the elven land could no longer keep him and he left home.

  His parents, understanding him and his decision, blessed him and sent him off. His brother, although taken back, was happy to see him go off into the world. He even escorted him out to the borderlands in order to savour every last moment with his brother. With a hug they went their ways, knowing that they would see each other again some day in the future.

  Mah'dee spent alot of his time travelling and fine tuning his hunting and musician skills. He made his way by entertaining men and also by selling furs and hides to the local shopkeepers in whichever town he was in at the time.

  The only stable thing about him was his wandering. He didn't seem to stay too long in any one city, just to soak up the sights and to meet the people and then he was off again. This was of course until he came to Trollsbane.

  He hasn't made a decision to settle down and he still does a little travelling, but Trollsbane has become somewhat of a home to him. And he has been around it's parts doing what he does best for the past couple years.
